# How to choose a proxy type?

If you already have proxy IP, set proxy on add/update browsers is ok, refer to [Proxy Settings](/help1/proxy.md);\

If you dont have one, choose "Direct Connection Mode";\
\
In general, you can choose any of the proxy IP, proxy software, and local IP, it all depends on your needs!
